ABOUT US

Highland Specialty Services is a door and hardware installation company in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area. With more than 50 years of experience in the commercial door and hardware business, we are FEMA Certified installers with ASSA Abloy. We offer the experience of knowing ADA, fire codes, and life safety requirements. All of our project managers and superintendents are OSHA 30-Hour certified. Our goal is to provide our clients with the best customer service while maintaining a safe work environment. We take pride in all of the work we do and strive to have the best craftsmanship in the business. Equipped with 52 installers, we have the ability to handle the continuing growth of Highland Specialty Services.

Jennifer Harris

Jennifer has carried her military background into the construction industry with an acute attention to detail and driven work ethic. As the Operations Manager, she uses her almost 20 years of experience, along with FEMA and Lockmaster certifications, to ensure that quality and customer service are the top priority.

Wesley Forman

Superintendent

Wesley developed a passion for the construction industry in the late 80’s while working for a framing company in the DFW area. Today, while performing the normal duties of scheduling crews and working with customers, he has become the company’s all-around problem solver. He also tries to get out and hit a golf ball every now and then.

Chris Verdoorn

Assistant Superintendent

Chris has over 10 years of experience in door and hardware installation industry. He has used his years of experience to grow into a well-rounded carpenter while overseeing crews on Highland’s most complex projects. Chris can be seen taking his mind off the job on the back roads of DFW riding his motorcycle.
